Effective Date: July 2025

The Almanac Management is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors, including people with disabilities. We aim to make our website, https://www.almanac-design.com inclusive, usable, and accessible in compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and other applicable laws including:

  • Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) (where applicable)

  • European EN 301 549 standards

  • The UK Equality Act 2010

What Is Web Accessibility?

Web accessibility ensures that people of all abilities, including those who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnifiers, or voice commands, can use and interact with websites fully and independently.

What We’ve Done to Improve Accessibility

We are actively working to improve accessibility across all pages of our website. To the best of our ability, we have:

  • Used semantic HTML and heading structures

  • Ensured readable font sizes and color contrast ratios

  • Added alt text to all relevant images

  • Enabled keyboard navigation for all major interactive elements

  • Avoided auto-play, flashing elements, or seizure-triggering content

  • Applied ARIA landmarks where appropriate

  • Used clear and descriptive link and button labels

We also use tools and audits (such as browser accessibility checkers and third-party scans) to identify and address issues.

Third-Party Content

While we strive for full accessibility, some third-party content (such as embedded forms, social media feeds, or video players) may not be fully accessible or may be outside of our immediate control. We welcome feedback and will work to provide alternative solutions where possible.

Accessibility Features in Development

We are actively working to:

  • Provide accessible PDF downloads

  • Add video captions and transcripts to media content

  • Improve screen reader announcements for dynamic content

  • Ensure all form elements are properly labeled and navigable

Physical Accessibility (for Events and Exhibitions)

For in-person events (e.g., the Signal & Silence exhibition in Rome), we work with venues that offer wheelchair accessibility and can accommodate individuals with mobility or sensory needs. Accessibility details will be listed for each event on its registration page.
